Causes serious eye irritation; suspected of damaging fertility or the fetus; may cause respiratory irritation; may cause drowsiness or dizziness; prolonged or repeated exposure can cause organ damage; very toxic to aquatic life; very toxic to aquatic organisms with long lasting effects; harmful in contact with skin.
Precautions
Keep away from heat and store in a cool and well-ventilated place.
Do not operate until you get specific instructions and read and understand all safety precautions.
Store and transport separately from oxidizers, alkalis, and food chemicals.
Use personal protective equipment as required.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin; avoid inhaling its fumes, vapors or spray; avoid ingestion; wash thoroughly after handling.
No eating, drinking or smoking at the operation site.
Incident Response
In case of a fire, use alcohol-resistant foam, dry powder and carbon dioxide to extinguish the fire.
Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing immediately, flush with plenty of running water for at least 15 minutes, and seek medical attention.
Eye contact: Lift eyelids immediately, flush thoroughly with plenty of running water or normal saline for at least 15 minutes, and seek medical attention.
Inhalation: Keep airway open. If breathing is difficult, oxygen should be administered. If breathing has stopped, perform artificial respiration immediately and seek medical attention.
Safe Storage
Store in a cool, dry, ventilated, dark, fireproof building. Building materials should be corrosion-resistant.
The warehouse should be kept clean, the debris and combustibles in the storage area should be cleaned up in time, and the drainage ditches should be kept clear of obstructions.
Keep away from kindling and heat sources. The package should be sealed.
Store separately from oxidizers, alkalis, and food chemicals; do not mix them.
Provide fire protection equipment of appropriate variety and quantity. The storage area should be provided with appropriate materials to contain leakage.
Disposal Considerations
Disposal by controlled incineration is recommended.
